MEGAN SULLIVAN, BS, PT
Physical Therapist

Megan Sullivan is a driven, impassioned, and highly skilled manual therapist with more than 16 years of experience in clinics and hospitals across the world.  Megan’s diverse background equips her with a unique perspective and dynamic, patient-focused approach to her treatments.

Born in South Africa, Megan completed her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of the Witwatersrand in 1999. Her passion for travel and adventurous spirit led her to London where she worked in the UK National Healthcare system and Private practice for almost 2 years. Megan moved to the U.S. in 2002 and has practiced physical therapy in Washington DC, Washington State, Illinois and now Florida. Megan is a Certified Mulligan Practitioner (CMP), and certified STOTT Pilates instructor (mat). Involved in sports and wellness her entire life, Megan was a member of the Johannesburg Youth Ballet Company, played on the amateur Beach Volleyball circuit and represented South Africa’s Transvaal (Gauteng)Province in Netball.  Megan’s keen interest in Pilates was a perfect adjunct to her Physical Therapy training with its strong focus on alignment, strength, breath work and body awareness.

Megan has always enjoyed sitting down with a great puzzle, little did she know that she would be lucky enough to do one every day in her career.  Megan believes that in order to ensure successful treatment outcomes, it is important to step back and methodically figure out how all the pieces come together. The human body is a complex, integrated and connected system; it is futile to try to resolve pain or dysfunction as if it were an isolated incident. With persistence, tenacity and patience, Megan will work with you to figure out what your puzzle really looks like, get to the root of your concerns, and get you on the path to recovery.

Outside of the clinic you will most likely find Megan cheering loudly at her daughters’ volleyball and basketball games, sparring with her son or biking around town with the whole family including the dog! Megan is excited to join the team at PTWC, and is committed to providing her patients with unparalleled care and compassion during therapy sessions. She will bring her outgoing demeanor, deep expertise, and passion for physical therapy to partner with you in achieving your goals and becoming active participants in your own healing.
