Jecilin Castro-giraldo, BA
Administrative Assistant: Patient Coordinator & Billing Specialist
Jecilin Castro Giraldo has a Bachelors in English and International Relations, and a certificate in Public and Professional Writing from Florida International University.
Before working for Physical Therapy and Wellness Center, Jecilin was a substitute teacher at an elementary charter school. It is there that she met Dr. Tischenko, who was volunteering at a school event, and struck up a conversation about a possible job opportunity. As she has always been interested in administrative work, she was excited to become part of the administrative team.
Jecilin has been able to grow and expand her skill set since becoming part of the team, and is now not only an administrative assistant, but a patient coordinator, and billing specialist for both rehab and wellness patients. She is passionate about her work, and hopes to continue to learn from the therapists, patients, and other administrative members. Jecilin is also excited about the possibility of continuing to grow with the company, and helping it move forward in the future.

Joe Baeza is a student at Miami-Dade College and Florida International University Connect4Success completing his pre-requisites towards his degree in Physical Therapy. He selected the track of Physical Therapy because of his love of human anatomy and the care he saw when he had physical therapy himself.
During high school, Joe dedicated numerous hours volunteering and interning with Nicklaus Children's Hospital and spending the majority of his time improving the quality of life for many young children. Through his efforts, he was awarded "The President's Volunteer Service Award" for committing over 300 hours with Nicklaus Children's Hospital.
Outside of school, Joe enjoys his hobbies in playing latin jazz percussion and hanging out with his friends at his local card shop playing Magic the Gathering, and Dungeons & Dragons.
As a rehab technician, Joe is in charge of maintenance and inventory throughout PTWC. Along with these responsibilities, he also tends to the needs of the ATeam and Pteam. Joe is committed to making PTWC a healthy and inspiring place to heal, play and grow.
The administrative team also maintains the PTeam
in good shape everyday after lunch with our famous "Cafecito Time".
